Blush offers more than just a touch of colour for a healthy glow; it’s great for enhancing your facial features, too. How do you apply blush based on the shape of your face? Round face: blend the blush from your cheekbones towards your temples to make your face appear longer. Square face: apply the blush to your cheekbones. Oval face: apply the blush to your cheeks, blending upwards. Triangular face: apply the blush to the widest part of your cheekbones, blending towards the eyes. At what point do you apply blush in your make-up routine? Blush is applied after foundation and contouring, but before highlighter. Apply in this order: colour first (blush/bronzer), then highlight. Fixing powder, if used, should be the final step of your routine, helping set your make-up for longer.
