Bronzer is used to create a sun-kissed look, sculpt the features through contouring, and even out a dull complexion. It's applied after foundation and before blush and highlighter. Can you apply bronzer all year round? Yes, bronzer can be used all year round. As well as being used for contouring, in summer it enhances and intensifies your natural tan, while in autumn and winter it helps to revitalise a dull complexion. What's the difference between bronzer and highlighter? Bronzer can be used to give the face a sun-kissed effect, or to create natural shadow on the jawline, temples and sides of the nose. Highlighter contains reflective particles that capture light, illuminating areas like the cheekbones, Cupid's bow and bridge of the nose. These two products are often used together when contouring to sculpt the face, using light and shadow to skilful effect.
